THE NEW BELGIUM BREWING COMPANY“BIERE DE MARS” IS LANDING AT
ELLIE FORCELLA ITALIAN TAPROOM ONSUNDAY JANUARY 25, 2004


The Webster Groves restaurant is welcoming the Fort Collins, Colorado brewer (best known for their Fat Tire Amber Ale) for a Beer Dinner starting at 5:30 pm.

Belgian born and raised, Brewmaster Peter Bouckaert will be on hand to introduce “Biere De Mars”, the newest creation from the Special Release Beer Program. This program was created to release beer styles with year-round appeal, with the special release beers only on the market for four months.

Ellie Forcella Executive Chef Dominic Weiss and Sous Chef Tony Pozzo have created five courses of delectable Italian dishes to complement the brews:

Zucchini “Canoes”, Pizza Primavera,& Italian Salsiccia stuffed pretzels
Served with Blue Paddle Pilsener

Ellie’s House Salad - crisp romaine lettuce w/ tomatoes, red onions, artichoke hearts & provolone cheese tossed in our creamy Italian vinaigrette & topped w/ our house made parmesan garlic croutons

Grilled Asparagus Fettuccini - tossed w/ red onion ribbons & crumbled gorgonzola cheese in a roasted red pepper cream sauce

Roasted Bone-In Chicken Breast - w/ a cranberry-orange Biere De Mars demi-glaze, accented w/ balsamic wilted spinach
Served with Biere De Mars Ale

Caramelized Banana Tiramisu - fresh bananas layered between espresso-amaretto soaked pound cake & banana Mascarpone crème, dusted w/ cocoa powder & ground espresso beans
Served with Abbey Belgian Style Ale
