January 27, 2003 ---- Belvedere Winery and Blue Water Grill are teaming up in February for a fun and interactive dinner of five courses and six wines.

 

Meet special guest of honor Bob Bertheau, Director of Winemaking for Belvedere Winery,

and Lisa Slay, Executive Chef of Blue Water Grill, as they come together to present their creations for the evening.

Singing Sea Scallops served with squid ink angel hair pasta and side–by-side dual sauces (tomato coulis and a citrus beurre blanc)

Paired with Belvedere 2000 Healdsburg Ranches Chardonnay and

2000 Russian River Chardonnay

Braised Veal Shoulder with tomatillo and gnocchi stew

Paired with Belvedere 1998 Healdsburg Ranches Cabernet Sauvignon

Banana Leaf Roasted Sullivan Bay King Salmon with chanterelle mushrooms and tarragon ragout

Paired with Belvedere 2000 Russian River Pinot Noir

Meyer Lemon Tart with Chambord flambé prepared in the dining room and served by

Executive Chef Lisa Slay and Sous Chef Ivy Magruder

Belvedere Winery joins the three world class grape-growing sites of Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley, and Alexander Valley in Healdsburg, California.  Bob Bertheau worked as Assistant Winemaker at both Chalk Hill and Hanzell wineries and as a Winemaker at Gallo of Sonoma before working for Belvedere Winery.
