Big Sky Café Celebrates 11th Birthday April 22-28, 2003

 

April 1, 2003 ----  The Webster Groves restaurant is celebrating with a full week of events:

 

Tuesday April 22 – Charity Night with Forest Park Forever (5:30 – 10:00 pm)

Help us kick off the week!  Have dinner at Big Sky Café and 11% of the total night’s sales will go to Forest Park Forever – a local organization dedicated to the improvement and preservation of Forest Park.

 

Wednesday April 23 – Wine Lovers Wednesday (5:30 – 10:00 pm)

From 5:30 – 6:30 pm John Hoffherr from St. James Winery will be on hand for a complimentary wine tasting of some of his wines, with a special wine flight of St. James wines will be available throughout the evening.  Afterwards, stay for dinner and receive a half price bottle of wine with your meal!

 

Thursday April 24 – Spring Opening of the Wine Garden (8:00 – 10:00 pm)

Start the “outdoor” season off right with live music and ½ price wines by the glass in the Wine Garden. 

 

Friday April 25 & Saturday April 26 – Birthday Card Night (5:30 – 11:00 pm)

Big Sky wants to give you a gift!  Eat at Big Sky Café on Friday or Saturday night and receive a birthday card that entitles you to a complimentary bottle of wine redeemable in May.

 

Sunday April 27 – Big Sky Café Backyard BBQ (4:30 – 9:30pm)

Big Sky is firing up the grill in the Wine Garden and cooking some of your favorite BBQ in addition to the regular menu.  Pair the grilled goodness with wines selected by the certified sommelier on staff for a great evening!

 

Monday April 28 (actual birthday) – Guest Chef Night (5:30 – 10:00)

All of the great chefs from Great Restaurants: Ivy Magruder (Blue Water Grill), Lisa Slay (Remy’s Kitchen & Wine Bar) and Dominic Weiss (Ellie Forcella) are coming together to honor the Big Sky birthday and Executive Chef Jon Wiltse’s 10th anniversary.  The menu will consist of small plates from all four locations as well as Big Sky favorites past and present.  Each chef will be in the restaurant for the evening to personally wish Jon and Big Sky the best.
